The site also offers opportunities for members to provide academic, professional services such as proofreading, translation, editorial services.   Our aim is to make available a web of connection that facilitates quality research, proper mentorship and build up research capacity worldwide.

Any duly registered individual who accesses our services via our website   and accepts our terms and conditions, inclusive of our privacy and peer review policy is designated as a Member (you, user, client). Members will have the right to access services, communicate with other academicians and professional colleagues, seek for mentorship or be mentored, access collaborative networking, provide editorial services. translation services, manuscript editing and all other full range of services provided by the website. The acceptance of our terms and conditions, privacy policy and peer review policy govern our legal requirements and agreement between members and mentor partner. The legal agreement also determines the use of the site and content posted on our site by members. Any individual (Visitor)not registered will not be able to access the full range of services. Our terms and conditions become legally binding once we accept your offer to enter into a binding agreement with us, e.g., once you have submitted the registration process and we have sent confirmation that you have successfully registered for the Service. In some jurisdictions, you may be bound to these Terms if you repeatedly access the Service against our instructions.

“Content/Material/ total content” means text, graphics, images, music, software, audio, video, information or other works of authorship.

“Member” as explained above   means a person who completes Mentorpartner.net registration.

“Member material/content” means material that a Member posts, uploads, publishes, submits or transmits to be made available through the Site or Services.

IT IS MANDATED THAT MEMBERS AGREE THAT DISPUTES/CLAIMS BETWEEN MENTORPARTNER.NET AND MEMBERS WILL BE RESOLVED BY BINDING, INDIVIDUAL MEDIATION AND YOU ARE FORFEITING YOUR RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY OR TO PARTICIPATE AS A PLAINTIFF OR MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS ACTION OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. AFTER AGREEING TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. WE ALSO ARE OPEN TO INFORMAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION, IF MEMBERS WRITE TO US WITHIN 30 DAYS  OF NOTIFICATION VIA E-MAIL SENT TO  ADMIN@MENTORPARTNER.NET.

NOTE: WE ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO UPDATE OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS DEEMED APPROPIATE TO REFLECT CHANGES IN LAW. OBLIGATORY RULES AND REGULATION, FOR BENEFICIAL MODIFICATION OF MEMEBERS AND TECHNICAL UPDATE WITH NEWER FEATURES.  WE ALSO UPHOLD THE RIGHT TO MODIFY OUR SITE, ADD FEATURES AND PROVIDE TECHINICAL UPDATES TO OUR SITE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.

MEMBERS WHO UPLOAD ANY CONTENT BARE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY THAT THE MATERIAL OR CONTENT POSTED/UPLOADED/SUBMITTED IS FREE FROM PLAGIARISM AND COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. MEMBERS MUST SEEK APPROPIATE PERMISSION FOR THEIR PUBLISHED MATERIAL; UPLOADED ON THE SITE IF REQUIRED BY THE PUBLISHERS, MENTORPARTNER WILL CLOSE ANY MEMBER ACCOUNT IF NOTIFIED OF THESE VIOLATIONS.

In addition, in the event that assets transferred or sold to another entity.  Personal Information may be transferred to the acquiring entity and/or to potential acquiring entities to the extent permitted by applicable law and we will seek your consent where required.

Third party advertising

We strictly will not share personal information or identity to advertisers, however general information based on number of visitors, areas or expertise, performance data, number of clicks, location of frequent users in specific areas.

Members are permitted to post, upload, publish, submit or transmit Member Content/materials. By making any Member Content/materials available through the Site or Services, you hereby grant permission to mentorpartner.net a worldwide, revocable, non-exclusive, transferable license to exercise any and all rights under copyright, in any medium, and to authorize others to do the same, in connection with operating and providing the Services and Content to you and to other Members. Mentorpartner.net will not claim any ownership rights in any Content/MATERIAL POSTED BY MEMBERS and nothing in these Terms will be deemed to restrict any rights that you may have to use and exploit any Content. Note: The legal consequences of any infringement of copyright due to member posting. Uploading or submissions will be strictly borne by the member, and the account will be deleted.

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for all Member Content, skill and expertise that you make available through the Site or Services. Accordingly, you represent and warrant that: (i) you, either are the sole and exclusive owner of all material /content. You are either certified or experienced in your area of expertise. that you make available through the Site or Services.  Also you are well grounded in your area of expertise. Members may wish to provide recommendations from other members for their advertised area of expertise.

Further, members are allowed to provide academic or professional skills to other members in areas of expertise either at a cost or for free.

MEMBERS CAN CHOOSE TO OPT FOR PAYMENT FOR THEIR SERVICES. THEY ARE TO DETERMINE THEIR COST FOR THEIR ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL SERVICES.  THEY MUST INFORM THEIR WOULD -BE CLIENTS (MEMBERS WHO SEEK SERVICES FROM OTHER MEMBERS) AND MUST STRICTLY BE   BETWEEN THE MEMBERS INVOVLED (NO THIRD PARTY).  PLEASE NOTE, MEMBERS SHOULD PROVIDE PREFERRED PAYMENT MODALITIES TO THEIR CLIENT. THE. CLIENTS WHO USE THEIR SERVICES MUST STRICTLY VERIFY THE AUTHENTICITY OF THEIR EXPERTISE AND PERSONAL INTEGRITY BEFORE ACCEPTING TO PAY FOR THE SERVICE. PREFERRED MODE OF PAYMENT AND SECURITY OF PAYMENTS SHOULD BE AUTHENTICATED AND EVIDENCE OF PAYMENT S OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PAYMENT SHOULD BE MADE AVAILABLE BY THE MENTOR TO THE CLIENT.  

MENTORPARTNER.NET WOULD NOT BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE IN ANY DISPUTE CLAIM OR PAYMENT ISSUES, FALSE CLAIMS, THEFT OR FAILURE TO HONOR AGREEMENTS.  HOWEVER, IN SUCH CASES, AGGRIEVED CLIENTS SHOULD PROMPTLY INVOLVE MENTORPARTNET.NET NOT LESS THAN THIRTY DAYS ON SUCH DISPUTE, FALSECLAIMS. MEMBERS ARE FREE TO ADVERTISE TO OTHER MEMBERS THEIR AREA OF EXPERTISE WITHIN MENTORPARTNER.NET HOWEVER, MENTORPARTNER WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FALSE INFORMATION IN AREA OF EXPERTISE POSTED ON THE SITE, THOUGH EFFORTS ARE MADE TO VERIFY THE MEMBERS PROFILE, CLIENTS WHO ENGAGE THEM SHOULD VERIFY THE PROFILE OF MEMBERS BEFORE ENGAGEMENT OR PAYMENT.

 Prohibitions for Members

As a member you agree not to do any of the following:

  1. Not to upload, publish, post submit or transmit any Content/material  that: (i) infringes, misappropriates or violates a third party’s patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, moral rights or other intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity or privacy; (ii) violates, or encourages any conduct that would violate, any applicable law or regulation or would give rise to civil liability; (iii) is fraudulent, knowingly false, misleading or deceptive; (iv) is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, vulgar or offensive; (v) promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment or harm against any individual or group; (vi) is violent or threatening or promotes violence or actions that are threatening to any person or entity; or (vii) promotes illegal or harmful activities or substances;
  2. Disclose information that you do not have the right to disclose (such as confidential information of others (including your employer);
  3. Use, display, mirror or frame the Site, or any individual element within the Site or Services,name,
  4. Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Site, mentorpartner computer systems, or the technical delivery systems of mentorpartner.net’s providers;
  5. Attempt to hack, scan , probe mentorpartner.net.
  6. Avoid, bypass, remove, deactivate, impair, descramble or otherwise circumvent any technological measure implemented by Mentorpartner.net or any of Mentorpartner.net’s providers or any other third party (including another user) to protect the Site, Services or Total Content;
  7. Scrape or copy profiles and information of others through any means (including crawlers, browser plugins and add-ons, and any other technology or manual work);
  8. Sell, sponsor, or otherwise monetize any feature of the Services, without mentor consent;
  9. Attempt to access or search the Site, Services or Material/Content or download content from the Site or Services through the use of any engine, software, tool, agent, device or mechanism (including spiders, robots, crawlers, data mining tools or the like) other than the software and/or search agents provided by Mentorpartner.net or other generally available third party web browsers;
  10. Use bots or other automated methods to access the Services, add or download contacts or profile information;
  11. Send any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, email, junk mail, spam, chain letters or other form of solicitation;
  12. Use any meta tags or other hidden text or metadata utilizing a Mentorpartner.net trademark, logo URL or product name without Mentorpartner.net’s express written consent;#
  13. Use the Site, Services or Total Content for any commercial purpose or the benefit of any third party or in any manner not permitted by these Terms;
  14. Attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer any of the software used to provide the Site, Services or Total Content;
  15. Interfere with, or attempt to interfere with, the access of any user, host or network, including, without limitation, sending a virus, overloading, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing the Site or Services;
  16. Collect or store any personally identifiable information from the Site or Services from other users of the Site or Services without their express permission;
  17. Impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  18. Violate any applicable law or regulation; or encourage or enable any other individual to do any of the foregoing

PEER REVIEW POLICY

WE ALSO PROVIDE SERVICES FOR PEER REVIEW FOR MEMBERS WHO WISH TO POST MANUSCRIPTS, LECTURE NOTES, TEACHING AIDS. THE OPTION FOR PEER REVIEW WILL NOT BE MANDATORY,  HOWEVER , FOR THOSE WISHING TO OPT FOR ADMINISTRATIVE  PEER REVIEW,  CHARGES WILL BE MANDATED FOR THE PEER REVIEW PROCESS.  IN OPTING FOR PEER REVIEW , MEMBERS MUST SEND TO  MENTOR PARTNER ADMINISTRATION CENTRE BEFORE POSTING ON THE SITE. SUGGESTIONS FOR PEER REVIEWERS   OF CONTENT OR MATERIALS/DRAFTS  ARE WELCOME.
